ACCOMODATION
It is possible to stay overnight on the Verrazzano estate in the recently restored farmhouse, the "Foresteria Casanova ", which is approx 1 km from the Castle.
There are two independent apartments and 7 double rooms, four of which have the possibility of adding a third bed. All the rooms are furnished in typical rustic Tuscan style, each with private bathroom and there is a common room for reading and relaxation.
Outside there is a patio with tables and chairs to enjoy the fresh country air.
For this season the price is:
- single room: € 70,00 for one day, € 65,00 for two or more days
- double room:: € 94,00 for one day, € 88,00 for two or more days
- triple room: € 105,00 for one day, € 95,00 for two or more days
(Breakfast is offered and served at the Castle).
For this season the price for the apartments is 100,00 euro per day for
the two persons apartment + 30,00 euro for final cleanings, 140,00 euro for the four
persons apartment + 50,00 euro for final cleanings (breakfast at the Castle on request - 5,00 euro).
For the apartments minimum overnight three days.
There is no public telephone.
There are many beautiful trekking trails on the estate.
Situated in the heart of Chianti, the "Foresteria Casanova" is an ideal starting point
for excursions to Florence (20 km) Siena and San Gimignano (40 km) and Volterra (60 km).
In 2010 the farmhouse will be closed as follows:

8 - 11 March
1 - 4, 7 - 11, 14 - 18, 21 - 25 and 28 - 30 November
